What is Textile Design ?

Textile design is the process of creating designs for knitted, woven or printed fabrics.

Textile design is not the same as textile production, although textile designers would benefit from working with various fabrics and materials. Textile designers create designs on textiles and they use fabrics, cloth, and upholstery to fashion a wide range of products. Textiles are the basis of linens, bathing products, fashion, interior design, and furniture. And, textiles have grown up to branch out into installation art.

Successful textile designers marry a creative vision of what a finished textile will look like with a deep understanding of the technical aspects of production and the properties of fiber, yarn, and dyes.[1]

Designs for both woven and printed textiles often begin with a drawing or watercolor sketch of the finished design. Traditionally, drawings of woven textile patterns were translated onto special forms of graph paper called point papers which were used by the weavers in setting up their looms.[2]

Today, most professional textile designers use some form of computer-aided design software created expressly for this purpose.[1]

Beam Dyeing Machine

Our Beam Dyeing machines are used for bleaching and dyeing all types of fabrics in open width on perforated beams. 
As the fabric is static, the even penetration of dye liquor ensures level dyeing and avoids damage to the fabrics.

The material used for construction is SS 316 wherever dyeing liquor comes in contact
Provided with 'Airpad' system for static pressure thus reducing the M:L ratio. 
External shell and tube type exchanger of seam less tubes. 
Special pump is provided which allows higher heads and high flows even in case of hard dye penetration fabrics.
